East Quogue Home

This exciting project in beautiful East Quogue, NY, consisted of designing a comprehensive array of engineering systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection. The single family residence of approximately 10,000 square feet incorporates living space spread across two floors above grade, as well as a finished below-grade lower level.

The main level of this luxurious home consists of a first floor kitchen, family, living, and dining rooms as well as a library and entry. Bedrooms, the master suite, sitting room and family office occupy the second floor, while the lower level includes a gym and accommodation for the housekeeping staff. Additionally, the ocean front home includes an in-ground pool and nearby cabana.

Regarding engineering systems, geothermal heating and cooling systems were deigned and heating is supplemented by high-efficiency instantaneous gas-fired equipment. Each air handler incorporates a supplemental heating coil. Air handlers and distribution zoned to accommodate comfort, exposure and use. There is one heat pump per zone. Finally, radiant floor warming was installed in the master bath.
